What is EFT Tapping?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as “tapping,” is a gentle, somatic-based practice that combines ancient Chinese acupressure with modern psychology. By tapping on specific energy meridian points while acknowledging thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, EFT helps release stress, rewire limiting patterns, and create safety in the body.
EFT has been widely used and studied to support:
Stress & anxiety reduction
Releasing fear and limiting beliefs
Emotional regulation & nervous system healing
Self-sabotage and inner conflict
Confidence, self-worth & visibility
Manifestation blocks & energetic alignment
Physical discomfort linked to emotional root causes
Core Philosophy:
Tapping works by stimulating the body’s meridian points — similar to acupuncture, but without needles. This sends a calming signal to the amygdala (the brain’s fight-or-flight center), interrupting stress patterns and creating space for new emotional responses.
Research has shown EFT can:
Lower cortisol levels
Regulate heart rate and blood pressure
Improve emotional resilience and self-regulation
Support trauma recovery and PTSD symptoms
